Since the arrival of our sweet baby Jack, priorities have shifted and less showers have been taken. I once went 24 hours without brushing my teeth, and was not sorry about it! (Sorry to my husband) I am currently sitting here in leggings that are mildly damp with spit up whilst eating a guilt free lactation cookie, because if it helps me make more milk, the calories don’t count, right?
I went so far as to plan out our Christmas card, order costumes, and coordinate pictures, but soon after, I lost steam. I decided we were going to save trees this year, and share our photos via the interwebs this year.
This photo would have been front and center:This would have been our message:
Dear Family and Friends,
Another year is in the books, and we are grateful for 2018. Connie spent most of the year pregnant, and on October 26, 2018, our first baby boy was born! Professor and Ruby have a little brother! Jack Weston Tsai has taken over our hearts, and we love him so much it hurts (in a good way). Connie is enjoying her maternity leave and being a new mom. Yung continued to pursue photography and worked on various projects, while tending to Connie’s pregnancy ailments between the months of March through May. He is now working at job that allows him remote flexibility, and for that we are thankful. We took a babymoon to Las Vegas–our one and only trip this year! We are excited for the new year to come and loving being new parents. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
Love,
Yung, Connie, Baby Jack (5 weeks at the time the photo was taken), Professor (not pictured), and Ruby (not pictured)
