Yung took my maternity photos on September 29, 2018. It was a rainy Saturday, but we braved the yucky weather and headed out to White Rock Lake. Fun fact: I got bridal portraits taken on September 29, 2016. How quickly things change in just 2 years.

I was 35 weeks pregnant and as humongous as a house. I would probably recommend taking photos around week 28-30 when your belly is well established, but you aren’t huge and swollen and achy. Our free time together was somehow filling up with showers and work and other things, and this was the best time for us to get some photos in.

I love how the pictures turned out, and it’s so hard to imagine Baby Jack inside of me now that we have met him and he’s been with us for almost 3 months. We did get rained on once, but we hid under some trees and took more photos until it passed. Probably not the safest thing to do, but there was no thunder or lightening at the time. My dress and shoes got super muddy, but nothing a little cleaning didn’t resolve. After our photo shoot, we headed to Luby’s for the yummiest lunch! High class all the way over here 🙂 I’ll always treasure those days when it was just us and we were eagerly waiting the birth of our first baby.
