Last weekend, I got to celebrate with my oldest girlfriends as they showered baby boy Tsai!! Ya’ll know that if I like you, I will most likely leech onto you and you’ll be my friend for life. I have known most of these ladies since elementary/middle school (except for Christine–we met freshman year of college!). I just love that while all of them have lived away from Lake Charles at some point in their lives, they have all migrated back home and have thrown down roots in our tiny town. I even got to see Michelle who has been living in China for the last 3 years and just moved home over the summer!

Plus, they are all experienced mamas and I feel lucky to be so close to a group of baby experts. 

Here is the most amazing dessert made by Kari. If anyone is in Lake Charles or the surrounding areas, hit her up! Seriously the best best best cake ever.

I LOVE how we were gifted with many items that have been tested first hand by my friends’ babies, and have become a favorite of theirs. So sweet!

It is officially September, which means this may be our last full month as a couple before we meet our baby boy! It all depends on when he decides to make his appearance. We are slowly checking things off our to do list, and also making plenty of time for date nights and fun things.
