Finding a wedding photographer was a big headache for many months. We all know how important your wedding photographer is, and without a good recommendation, it was hard to know who to choose. There are so many talented artists and everyone’s style is a little different. Again, we found our people on a whim. After going on several in person photographer interviews and even a couple Skype conversations and shrugging our shoulders saying maybe they would work okay, Yung saw a wedding photo from a Facebook friend, that led us to photographer Geoff Duncan. We wanted him. He was unique and candid. We didn’t want ho hum photos. He was booked, but he referred us to Chad + Tressie Zellner aka Two Pair Photography. Everyone on their blog + website looked beautiful and appeared to be having the time of their lives. We felt that they were somehow able to capture emotions rather than just posed photos.
I contacted them, and continued to stalk their website a little bit. They replied with the best email. You know how sometimes you can get a feeling about someone you’ve never met after they’ve sent you a text or two? I immediately felt like I wanted to be friends with them. I facetimed with Tressie shortly after and we booked them!!
Chad shot our engagements, Tressie took my bridals, and they were both at our wedding. They worked with our timeline, stuck with our photo list, and were organized throughout our wedding planning process. Chad + Tressie both started working on their nursing degrees (hello! It was meant to be), but decided they wanted to attend parties for a living. Honestly, what is better than that? They are super talented, chill, and we really enjoyed working with them. A million thank yous for capturing our wedding + surrounding events.
XO.
